The event opens at 7:00am with races starting at 8am, prizes and awards shortly after completion and then off you go, back to your home where the real work begins; hence Hobble Now, Gobble Later! The most popular race day of the entire year across the nation, come join us in our first year of tradition building and discover why The Gobbler is the perfect way to start off this Family Holiday.
Race Start Times
Kids race will begin at 8am so that all parents can watch their kids race. The 10K will start 8:15, the 5K will start at 8:20.
All strollers are allowed on the course and we encourage the whole family to participate in the race. We ask that if you are running with a stroller that you start in the back of the starting area to allow faster runners to go first.
We’re sorry, but dogs are not allowed on the course.
The whole race is a family fun event with games, bounce houses, prizes for kids and much much more. So stick around after the race for more fun.
Packet pick up will be at St George Running Center. 2736 E Red Cliffs Dr #5, St. George, UT 84790. Wednesday, November 24th from 12 PM – 7 PM. Race day shirts? Of course there are Race Day Shirts for all racers, even the kids. Two local brothers, Collins Stuart and Adam Stuart have enjoyed for years, the beginning hours of Thanksgiving morning spent with the rest of our family, kicking up dust on a local dirt trail to burn some calories and get active with our family before the gluttony begins. Over the years, the group grew to include extended family, friends, and ultimately friends of friends. The dream of creating a true family activity on this universal family holiday is now being realized. This event is designed for the whole family unit, as diverse as that might be in your family. Whether you love running or try to avoid it, we want to welcome you all out to support the runners and spend time with your family.
